Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-06 · Last updated October 6, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how 4Tech LLC ("Heliovue", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Heliovue platform (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and authentication identifiers, provided when you register or sign in (including via Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication), and your organization membership and role.
Content you provide: drone imagery and flight data you upload (which may include embedded metadata such as GPS coordinates, capture timestamps, and camera/drone details), along with farm and inspection information you enter.
Processing outputs: orthomosaics, thermal calibration data, anomaly catalogs, and reports generated from your content.
Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser information, and request identifiers used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to: provide and operate the Service (including processing your imagery into calibrated mosaics, detections, and reports); authenticate users and manage organizations; maintain security and prevent abuse; provide support; and improve the reliability and quality of the Service.
We use HeyCatch to measure visits, interactions, and successful solar-flight processing, including which visits lead to use of the product. Its browser SDK uses cookies and browser storage. After you accept this policy and sign in, we associate analytics with your internal Firebase user ID so visits and processing outcomes can be connected. The completion event includes the completion time and report category; it does not contain your imagery, report contents, email address, or storage links. Product interaction capture masks page text and element attributes, and events containing shared-report or invitation capabilities are excluded.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
Within your organization: data you create may be visible to other members of your organization according to their role.
Service providers (subprocessors): we host and process data on Google Cloud Platform and Firebase (including Cloud Storage, Firestore, Cloud Run, and Authentication). These providers process data on our behalf under their terms.
Analytics providers: Google Analytics / Google Ads and HeyCatch receive website usage and technical data. HeyCatch also receives the identified product analytics described above.
Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or Heliovue.
Business transfers: information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Storage, location, and security
Data is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure, primarily in United States regions. We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@4tech.us. We will respond consistent with applicable law. You can also update your profile information within the Service.
8. International data transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated version, and where appropriate we may ask you to re-accept. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
